Me llamo Pablo Sanz y soy graduado en Ingenier\u00eda Qu\u00edmica desde 2023 por la Universidad de Zaragoza. Mi etapa universitaria concluy\u00f3 con un Trabajo Fin de Grado (TFG) titulado \"Intensificaci\u00f3n del proceso de metanaci\u00f3n por captura de CO\u2082 sobre catalizadores multifuncionales en un reactor de lecho fijo\". Posteriormente, en 2025, obtuve el M\u00e1ster en Ingenier\u00eda Qu\u00edmica con el Trabajo Fin de M\u00e1ster (TFM) \"An\u00e1lisis tecno-econ\u00f3mico de una planta para producci\u00f3n de gas natural sint\u00e9tico a partir de biog\u00e1s, v\u00eda metanaci\u00f3n catal\u00edtica\".<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Actualmente trabajo a tiempo completo como Investigador Novel (N4) en el Grupo de Investigaci\u00f3n de Cat\u00e1lisis e Ingenier\u00eda de Reactores (CREG). Previamente, he adquirido experiencia como becario gracias a una Beca de Colaboraci\u00f3n en la Universidad de Zaragoza, as\u00ed como con las Ayudas de la SECAT para la Introducci\u00f3n a la The plant, to be located in northeastern Spain, operates at an industrial scale with a production capacity of approximately 1100 Nm3\/h of SNG, obtained from a 1425 Nm3\/h biogas plant. The process includes five main stages to meet Spanish gas quality standards for grid injection: desulfurization, using amines for sulfur removal; electrolysis, for the generation of renewable hydrogen; thermocatalytic methanation, which combines CO2 from the biogas with hydrogen to enrich the methane content; dehydration, to meet SNG moisture specifications; and cogeneration, intended for the joint production of electricity and steam to meet the plant&#8217;s energy demands. A detailed analysis of investment costs (CAPEX) and operational expenses (OPEX) is conducted, identifying the key factors influencing the project&#8217;s profitability. The economic assessment indicates a total capital investment of 21.83\u00a0M\u20ac and operational expenses nearly 8\u00a0M\u20ac annually.
