      Graduado en Ingenier\u00eda Qu\u00edmica (2018) y M\u00e1ster en Ingenier\u00eda Qu\u00edmica (2020) por la Universidad de Zaragoza (Espa\u00f1a) en colaboraci\u00f3n con la Universidad de LUT (Finlandia). All\u00ed, prepar\u00e9 mi tesis de m\u00e1ster trabajando para \u201cTechnical Research Centre of Finland\u201d en el equipo \u201cRenewable Energy Processes\u201d en tem\u00e1tica relacionada con la adsorci\u00f3n de CO2 atmosf\u00e9rico. De regreso en Espa\u00f1a, fui contratado como ingeniero de investigaci\u00f3n en el Grupo de Procesos Termoqu\u00edmicos de UNIZAR en la reducci\u00f3n de emisiones de NOx de la combusti\u00f3n de amon\u00edaco. Desde 2021, estoy preparando mi tesis doctoral en el campo de la valorizaci\u00f3n energ\u00e9tica del biog\u00e1s e hidr\u00f3geno renovable, mediante la intensificaci\u00f3n con materiales avanzados y reactores multifuncionales en el Grupo de Cat\u00e1lisis e Ingenier\u00eda de Reactores (CREG) de UNIZAR. Tuve la oportunidad de participar en una estancia doctoral como investigador visitante en el grupo de \u201cLarge Scale Energy Storage group\u201d la Universidad T\u00e9cnica de Delft (Pa\u00edses Bajos).<\/p>\n

The experiments consisted of cycles beginning with a CO2 adsorption stage followed by a methanation stage (with H2), interspersed with or without inert purge periods. The greatest enhancement in methane generation was observed in experiments with a mechanical mixture (MM) of NiFe\/\u03b3-Al2O3 catalyst and Na2O\/\u03b3-Al2O3. The methane production capacity was tested over a temperature range comprised between 200 and 400\u00a0\u00b0C, with values over 380\u00a0\u03bcmol\/g obtained under moderate conditions (350\u00a0\u00b0C and pCO2\u00a0=\u00a00.12\u00a0bar) and selectivity to methane close to 100\u00a0%. Since the ultimate goal is the methanation of the CO2 present in a biogas (without removing CH4), the potential effect of the presence of methane during the CO2 adsorption stages was also investigated. To achieve this task, a feed stream representative of a sweetened biogas coming from the anaerobic decomposition of municipal solid waste (MSW) (70\u00a0%v CH4 and 30\u00a0%v CO2) was used. The results showed no adverse effects along the successive cycles, paving the way to the use of these solids for biogas upgrading. On the other hand, the catalyst did not show a significant loss of activity after several hours of repetitive adsorption-methanation cycles.},
